First Full Day of Downhill at A-Basin

Today we decided to just practice our downhill, which we sort of have been avoiding. You see, we have be enjoying the uphill aspect of the sport so much that each and every time we make our way to Arapahoe Basin, we head uphill. Then we ski down, only getting in downhill practice a handful of times.

Our heart and lungs are much appreciated of this, especially since we are hanging around 10,500 & 12,500 feet. But there is so much adventure to be had at A-Basin and in order to experience this, you need to be able to go downhill well. So today was a practice day and our first time using the Pallavinci Lift.

We took the easiest way down but that was pretty much at our limits of our current ability. It is not much to the average skier but to us, it felt as if we were heading down the The Steep Gullies. Till next time, thanks for watching!
