ITS TIME!

Greetings, I wanted to give you a quick update on what's been going on in the Mountain Peak Fitness world. Joe and I have been training for the up coming 2009 season. Our season is shaping up to be pretty epic, Joe is planning on taking his mountain biking to new heights by incorporating more 100 mile mtb races to his schedule and I'm eagerly awaiting my acceptance letter to see if i gained entry to what is billed as the toughest foot race on the planet the famed Badwater 135 in Death Valley CA.. I guess the number 100 is pretty powerful it's such a great round number ya know!! In addition to our training we have been secretly updating our wonderful website.

Which I have to say that we are pretty proud of it. If you get a chance to check it out, feel free to let us know what you think. We have also started a trail running group that meets every Sunday in Harriman State Park, NY. The wintery conditions here in the North East have really been adding to our fun factor while training, by running through deep snow or snow shoeing trying out different traction devices for our sneakers or going through desperate measures to keep our hydration bladders from freezing it's been a blast. We hope you are enjoying what the outdoors has to offer!!!
